Needless to say, inheritance is only one factor that determines what type of a dog you are going to have in the future. Though this factor is of vital importance, it is not the major one. Much depends on appropriate care for the dog and training. Prospective buyers often have a vague idea of what raising a dog is. Education they receive from books is not enough to supply the dog with all the care needed. Besides, there may arise certain problems that are not always described in the books.
The breeder should help Boxer owners raise their puppy. First advice should concern the proper diet for the dog, vaccinations done to the Boxer, and basic care skills such as measuring the dog' temperature, checking eyes and ears, and training a puppy. His advice is very precious since it comes from an experienced person. Hence, buy puppies from the breeders who will always be ready to guide you in the issue of raising Boxers.
